Do you know how many buttons to leave unfastened on your suit jacket? Do you know whether to tuck your shirt in or not? These questions plague many men who want to dress nicely but don’t know how. This article helps unravel the mystery of looking smart and stylish. 3. Match Your Belt with Your Shoes One of the best ways to broadcast that you’re stylistically stunted is to mismatch your belt and your shoes. When your outfit is more formal or businesslike, they should be matched exactly: black with black, burgundy with burgundy, and exact shades of brown. Their texture and finish should also coordinate. In more casual situations, they don’t have to match perfectly, but the hues should be similar. You can even take it a step farther by matching your watchband with your shoes and belt, and the metal on your buckle with your sunglass frames. 4. Button Your Suit Correctly A button is just for closing your suit, right? Wrong. A button can affect the entire appearance and fit of a suit. Even though it seems overwhelming, there are actually simple guidelines you can follow to look fresh and stylish, without compromising your individuality. Read on to learn the dos and don’ts of dapper dressing. 1. Know How to Correctly Wear a Tie When worn properly, a necktie expresses style and sophistication. It’s a cornerstone of a solid, pulled-together appearance. If you don’t know how to tie a tie, internet tutorials abound on the subject. Before you finish tying your necktie, add a “dimple” or a slight fold, under the knot. This little detail adds polish to your look. No matter how adeptly you’ve tied your tie, it must be the right length. Your tie should always graze the center of your belt buckle. If you wear your tie too short or too long, you risk looking like you’re going to a junior high school dance. And don’t ever tuck your tie into your pants. Ever. This is NOT open for discussion. 2. Match Your Socks to Your Pants There’s a misconception that socks should be matched with shoes. They should, in fact, be matched with your pants. This creates a smooth, unbroken line of color that complements a tall man’s height, and makes a shorter man’s legs look longer. Also, remember that no one wants to glimpse an unsightly patch of skin and scruffy hair when you cross your legs. So, be sure your socks at least reach mid-calf. Mid-calf socks conceal your less appealing features, and they stay up, so you won’t annoy other people by pawing at them all day. And avoid white socks at all costs. Just because Michael Jackson could effortlessly wear them, it doesn’t mean that you can. Page 4

• One-Button Suit Always keep the single button closed. When you’re sitting, unfasten all of the buttons, even if you’re wearing a one-button suit. This is because the suit might wrinkle if you leave it buttoned when you sit, and the button may also pop off. Additionally, most suits are constructed on the premise that the bottom button won’t be closed. 5. Buy a Pair of Black jeans Rip them, burn them, dissolve them in a vat of acid -- just get rid of your light-colored dad jeans. Replace them with timelessly stylish black jeans. These versatile wardrobe staples can be paired with everything from blazers to t-shirts and can be embellished with a wide variety of accessories. 6. Learn When to Tuck and When Not to Tuck Your Shirt There are only two ways to wear a shirt: tucked or untucked. So, why the confusion? It’s because there are subtleties to each that can either make or break your outfit. A general rule of thumb is that if a shirt has a curved hem, it should be tucked. A shirt with a straight hem should be untucked. A tuckable dress shirt needs to be long enough to cover your rear. When tucked in, it will resist escaping your pants during daily movements, and it will alleviate the dreaded muffin top. An untucked shirt should fall mid-zipper. If you stretch your arms upward and you can see your belly, it’s too short. Ginger has been used for thousands of years in cooking to enhance the flavor of meals as well as in medicine all over the world. It is a plant that is rich in natural chemicals that promote health, wellness and not forgetting that bit of yumminess in food. Relieving nausea Ginger is commonly used to help ease symptoms of nausea in conditions such as motion sickness, morning sickness, and nausea experienced by patients following chemotherapy.
