In these uncertain times where we have to be careful about our movements and practice social distancing, you tend to wonder how to spend some of the free time you have at home. Why not learn a few tips on cooking? We’ve got news for you...
Slow cooked beef 500gm boneless meat (beef ) 1 medium sized red onion, diced 1/2 small cinnamon stick 2 whole cardamon pods 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 2 whole cloves 1/4 teaspoon ground tumeric 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamon 1/4 teaspoon chilli (optional) 3 cloves garlic, smashed 1 tablespoon kosher salt
Mix all the ingredients except for the water, marinate for a few hours, in a heavy pot, put the mixture in and add a glass of water and cook on low heat, covered for 1 and half hours to 2 hours or until meat is tender and add some seasoning.
