J36 Machinery Sale Saturday 4th June The monthly sale of Machinery and implements, once again, attracted over 600 lots for sale. A strong selection of over 250 small tools and machinery implements inside meant a strong trade with plenty of people in the market looking for all types of items. Garden tools, once again, good to sell with garden lawnmowers and strimmers in strong demand especially spares and remains. Hand tools always good to sell with small livestock equipment eagerly bid for. A selection of garden plants and shrubs sold to a mixed trade. Outside in the yard machinery saw a Major Tanker sell to £4,200. Grass time machinery was also in strong demand and good to sell with a 21 foot Bale trailer selling to £2,800, a scaling out machine sold to £2,400 and an International 445D conventional hay baler sold to £1,100. Haybobs sold to a top of £1,100 with others selling in excess of £500 depending on the quality. A set of Dowdswell Disc sold to £2,000. In general a buoyant trade was had throughout with a good gathering of people especially with other sales on in the North West on the same day.
