Standards to £153 from KA Purtill and lightweights to £139 from T & E Burrow. Hill bred lambs to £150 for heavy weight Mashams, £139 heavy horned, £135 standard Cheviots. A top of 370p/kg for Texel crosses from T & E Burrow, other well finished standards 330p/kg to 350p/kg, grass finished 310p/kg to 325p/kg. It would be the heavy lambs and underfinished that met resistance from bidders today with this reflected in the market average of 305p/kg.
