STIRKS

J36 saw a flyer for the stirks, the trade had plenty of perk and a hint of quirk. Buyers were plenty and keen to lurk, bidding away with a seasonal smirk. Good sorts did the work, giving prices a steady upward jerk, on the previous week. The steer section did not shirk, with Limousin steers making vendors irk with delight. Plainer types took a little more work but still found homes without hitch or kirk. But still a very good trade, o ering a modest perk.

Topping todays trade with a quality Limousin steer was GC&G Taylor, Crook making £1680.

Trade was very good all round, and demand for more is increasing all the time.
