Weekly Report & Newsletter - 1st May 2026 J36 Rural Auction Centre: Online Machinery Sale & Vintage Machinery Sale. International Interest at Inaugural Vintage Sale at NWA J36 On Saturday 18th April NWA J36 held its inaugural collective sale of vintage and collectable tractors, vehicles, machinery, equipment and rural bygones which saw a catalogued entry of over 500 lots including several noted local collections attract buyer interest from throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. The sale format of both live and online bidding saw the auction conducted from the J36 from the J36 Exhibition Centre which allowed for a show room style display of a wonderful selection of restored tractors. The restored vintage section saw a David Brown 777, previously on the cover of classic tractor, achieve a hammer price of £6500 with a Ford 4600 sell at £6000. Achieving £5400 were a Ford Preforce 3000 and a David Brown 1200. An eye-catching Grey & Gold Ferguson sold at £4000. Modern collectables saw a Massey Ferguson 4370 sell at £20,000, Ford 6810 4wd at £13,500 and a Ford 7840 at £11,000. Smaller end tractors saw a Ford 2910 achieve £8900, Massey Ferguson 230 from £42000, Ford 4000 at £3900, Massey Ferguson 135 at £2800, International 674 from £2300. A large number of tractors for restorations drew keen bidding from enthusiasts looking for future projects. A Fordson Super Dexta achieved at £2500, Grey Ferguson at £1700, David Brown 1212 at £1600 with endless tractors achieving £800-£1400. Machinery items saw a Massey Ferguson 2-wheel trailer achieve £900, David Brown 2F reversible plough at £520, Land drive rear muck spreader at £450, Ransomes 3F plough at £450, Ferguson Fertspreader at £360.
