Prime Lambs A super entry of 700 lambs were forward with all eagerly bid for. Peaking at £163 for a pair of Beltex lambs from S Rossall, Over Wyresdale who sold other Beltex lambs at £162. With Texel lambs selling to £160 from R&DL Cornthwaite, Nateby, other pens of Texel lambs selling to £159 from JS Horner, Ingleton. With heavy well-bred continental lambs regularly £135-£140. A larger number of lighter lambs forward with all these selling well, with the best end of these regularly selling 320p/kg-330p/kg with more commercial types selling 300-310p/kg. The best pens of lambs regularly selling 340p/kg-350p/kg topping at 362p/kg for a Texel from KA Purtill, Wigan with other to 356p/kg from R&DL Cornthwaite, Nateby.
