Lancaster Auction Mart: Weekly Sale of Prime Lambs, Prime Hoggs and Cast Sheep, Monday 19th June 2023. Prime Lambs A slightly lighter show of lambs forward this week, which were met by a strong trade. Lambs saw a peak of £152 for Texels from J Singleton, Great Eccleston with Beltexs selling to £146 from E Lund & Son, Ingleton. Many pens of heavier lambs sold at £138 to £145 per head. Beltex lambs saw a top of 354p/kg from CP&V Cowgill, Bentham with plenty of the better bred lambs regularly selling at 315p/kg to 330p/kg. First cross Suffolk / Texels were
