Sale of Individual Multi Breed Sheep. Monday 6th January 2025. The perfect storm brewing at Junction 36! Pedigree in lamb sheep were an ice cool trade from start to finish for all breeds. Beltex North West Auction held its annual in lamb sale of pedigree sheep on behalf of the Beltex sheep society. The pre-sale show was kindly judged by Liam Swinnerton, who made the following prize awards: AGED EWE 1st Lot 7 Hallcrake Head Over Heels from M & E Jennings- 900gns 2nd Lot 8 Hallcrake Humbug from M & E Jennings- 450gns SHEARLING EWE 1st Lot 15 Woodies Jellytot from Colin Clemmit- 600gns 2nd Lot 9 Tercrosset Joanne from TC Whiteford- 500gns 3rd Lot 14 from Cloudy Dale Jura from Colin Clemmit- 550gns EWE LAMB 1st Lot 16 Smart Ass Klass from DE Owen- 500gns 2nd Lot 17 Smart Ass Keri from DE Owen- 400gns 3rd Lot 18 Smart Ass Kamilia from DE Owen- 500gns CHAMPION- Lot 7 Hallcrake Head Over Heels from M&E Jennings RESERVE CHAMPION- Lot 16 Smart Ass Klass from DE Owen A ewe topped the Beltex trade at 900gns, which was the champion sheep on the day consigned by Messrs Jennings of the Hallcrake flock. Beltex shearlings ewes sold to 700gns from TC Whitford of the Tercrossett flock. Ewe lambs hit 500gns twice from DE Owen, who received first prize and reserve champion for one of his run.
