Prime Lambs Numbers increased in the spring lamb section, trade holding it’s own with an average of 401p/kg achieved. Sale top at £195 for Texel from D & K Swarbrick, Out Rawcliffe, with other pens selling to £192 from A&E Clarkson, Thurnham. With plenty of pens regularly £185-£190. Lighter lambs with plenty of meat sold to plenty of demand, with a ring full of 41kg Texel x lambs selling to £178 from KA Purtill, Wigan.
