So let’s touch base again for our viewers tell us a little bit about yourself and where you are from?
Reverend Wesley Hartsell from Charlotte, North Carolina I’m a Tattooer and a father of four boys and one girl I love graffiti, tattoos, fast motorcycle and heavy music,
How long have you been tattooing for and how has the journey been for you?
I’ve been tattooing for 18 years I currently tattoo out of Reelfly tattoo in concord NC I’m a street shop Tattooer that tattoos in a style of mostly old school design with a little new age twist bright bold clean tattoos is what I strive for it’s been a wild ride in this craft I’ve seen so much change mostly for the good but I do miss the old days.
So you are currently in a punk/ heavy metal band, what genre would you categorize it and how is that going for you ?
Yes I’m currently in a band called Marked For Death out of Charlotte North Carolina we are a 4 piece hardcore outfit with fast thrashy riffs groovy bass lines powerhouse drums and aggressive vocals about living in a fucked up world we currently just left the studio recording a 5 song ep called Urban Decay which will be on Spotify @MarkedForDeathNC and Apple music
Do you have tour dates and travel plans for this year?
We have a few shows coming up in Atlanta at culture shock music venue, Wilmington NC in August and reading PA at reverb music hall
What’s The best way to follow your tattooing and music career?
The best way to see what I’m doing in life tattooing wise is Instagram at @Reverendwestattooer I have highlight sections at the top with all my travel dates for upcoming conventions hand painted flash I would love to tattoo also a link to where you can buy shirts outline flash books that are guaranteed money makers, and a section of all my hand painted flash and other medias of art for sale as for my music project marked for death.
