Influence Me Component 2

This was my first initial logo for my brand. I chose the colours, inspired by the vinted logo.

I did some research into the psychology of colour. The colour green is associated with calmness and sustainability. The colour yellow is associated with optimism and fresh thinking. I trialed some different shades of the greens and yellows to find what fits best with my brand.

Creating my logo

For my logo, I have used colours corrolating to sustainability and fresh thinking. The name Gen2gether represents bringing both gen z and gen alpha together to build a platform that encouragesenvironmentally friendly fashion and a sustainable way of life. It is a way of educating people in a fun way by using a platform that is popular to the younger generations.

Gen2gether

Gen2gether is a social media brand used to promote a sustainable lifestyle through fashion.

The message behind this campaigning brand is that Gen Alpha do not appreciate our earth and they are more interested in the newest trending skincare on TikTok. This is not a result of their lack of interest or care, it has stemmed from their lack of knowledge on sustainability and the effects of fashion and consumer behaviour.

Gen Alpha have grown up around social media and are obsessed with the influencers they see on TikTok, but from my research and personal experience, their biggest influencers are their siblings and their cousins, and even their parents. Gen Alpha look up to us and want to be like us, wear what we wear, and act how we act.

I believe that it is up to us as Gen Z to be their influencers and their educators and show them that a sustainable lifestyle is important and they can still be stylish while doing so!

The faces behind the message are Gen Alpha themselves, you may know them from their interviews as Erin and Lila. The girls are obsessed with all things fashion and style and looking the best.

The Faces

Lila Kendall (Gen Alpha)
Erin Burke (Gen Alpha)
Isabella Boyd (Gen Z)
Ellen McAleavey (Gen Z)

For my project, I am going to use some of my old clothes that I dont wear anymore to give to Lila and Erin. I am going to let them choose their own outfits and style themselves how they want. This is to emphasise the idea of Gen Z and Gen Alpha working hand in hand to promote sustainable fashion and how it can be done in fun ways.

This moodboard shows the vibe of my video and how i want it to be gen alpha based of them choosing their own outfits and styling themselves, and walking the runway whilst learning about sustainable fashion and teaching others about it too.

To boost brand awareness and following, gen2gether will be holding a clothes swap event and UoC Kingsway Campus. The event will be available to all who want to come and get involved.

Spaces will be provided to those who wish to bring their clothes, all it takes to reserve your space is a DM on instagram. All information will be posted on the gen2gether instagram account.

By the end of this event, I hope to promote our brand and gain a wider audience, as well as educate people on sustainable fashion and how we can make it a fun, positive thing.

At the event, there will be DJ and complementary refreshments. All attendees are advised to bring their own shopping bags to take their clothes, further promoting sustainability.
