• THE MANAGEMENT

Again this year, we are proud of the breeding stock offered. When customers visit and compliment that our bulls look better in person, its highest compliment we can receive, and we are thankful to hear this almost every visit. Our Bulls were raised with Ranchers in Mind.

Bulls have been managed with longevity in mind. They have been handled with horses, quads, on foot and are electric fence trained. Carcass data available on all bulls.

This year they were grazed until November and then fed silage until sale time. Heifers on offer are top end of our commercial herd.We survived the hail storm in August, sometimes blessings come in disguise, and we rebuilt our feedlot as a result. Besides that 45 minute storm overall a good year with July rain not turning irrigation on for 3 weeks in July is uncommon to us. Feeder cattle are in good demand. It’s a good time to be in the cattle business.

Thanks to all our customers over the years and bulls are available to view when ever you have time. We look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome FROM RENAISSANCE RED ANGUS

We are pleased to welcome you to the 2026 Bulls Eye Sale and are excited to be part of this long-standing event. We are looking forward to offering you several select yearling and two-year old registered purebred red angus bulls. We are also offering a registered purebred sale heifer as a donation for HALO and Silver Sage Community Corral, as well as 20 fancy red commercial replacement heifers at this year’s sale.

One of our highest priorities is to produce bulls with good feet. Our sale bulls have never had their feet trimmed and all are naturally sound. The first comments made by prospective buyers visiting our place is that all of the bulls are quiet and exceptionally easy to handle. From the time they are born, the bulls are handled daily on foot, and are fed by hand with buckets as they mature into yearlings. We place a high value on the good temperament of our bulls and any displaying a bad attitude are culled from the herd.

We have brought 27 yearling bulls to the sale this year. These bulls were weaned on October 1 and have been fed 8 pounds of Trouw Nutrition bull ration daily, along with free-choice hay since weaning. The yearlings we have brought to town include both heifer bulls and performance bulls and a few that would work in either pen.

Our group of two-year olds includes bulls that were born later into last year’s calving season or were simply not ready for last year’s sale. We feel that this group that have been kept back as two-year olds were well worth holding over since they have matured into exceptional bulls.

All bulls have been vaccinated with Bovi-Shield Gold, Ultra-bac 7, and have been treated with Ivomec. All will have had both shots of Fusogard to protect against foot rot prior to sale day and all bulls will be semen tested prior to sale day. Videos of the bulls will be posted on DLMS prior to sale day.

For the first time, we are parting with one of our home-raised registered purebred heifers as a donation heifer at this year’s sale. CLM 107N Red Renaissance Nilla is a 100% donation heifer with the full proceeds of her sale being split equally between HALO and Silver Sage Ag Society in support the Silver Sage Community Corral.

Our commercial heifers are selected from the top of our replacement heifer pen. All vaccinations are up to date and all heifers will be palpated prior to sale day.

If you would like to come and have a look at the bulls and heifers in person prior to sale day, or have any questions about our bulls or heifers, please feel free to give Cam a call at (403) 501-9492. We look forward to seeing you on sale day!

Cam & Lynne

This is the first registered purebred heifer we have sold from our herd. We have several females from this family that have been retained in our purebred herd and we expect that she will be a moderate framed cow with very good feet and udder. CLM 107N has had Ultra-bac 7, Bovishield Gold 1-shot and Ivomec and has been palpated and is ready to breed as the new owner sees fit.

Nilla is a 100% donation heifer with the full proceeds of her sale being split equally between HALO and Silver Sage Ag Society in support the Silver Sage Community Corral.
