BACKGROUND
Spread of microplastics
Developing countries earn money by accepting microplastic-laden rubbish from developed countries and selling them agricultural and livestock products garbage exported Developing country

This project is about the systematic design of a future rubbish city. Starting from researching the survival of ‘Zabbaleen’, I further explored solutions to the problem of microplastics harming the human body in the future.
I designed a microplastic removal system called ‘Pigeon Factory’ to remove microplastics from the bloodstream by extracting moulds from organisms and plants to alleviate the social plastic panic.
The irony of me using religion to balance the relationship between people and the environment, while anxiety needs to be alleviated through infusions, is thought-provoking.
Use of soil and water sources containing microplastics
Export of agricultural and livestock products
Export grain
Products containing microplastics
Insufficient funds and resources to dispose of waste, leading to accumulation of waste and leaching of trace elements into the soil
RESEARCH What are microplastics?
Microplastics (MPs) are contaminants that leach
into the soil from everyday waste and are highly susceptible to environmental uptake and thus enter the human body through the food chain.
