Since its establishment in 1985, the Zonta Foundation for Women has stood as a powerful force for change, channeling the generosity of Zontians and friends worldwide into projects and programs that uplift women and girls through education, economic and leadership opportunities, violence prevention and so much more.

For more than four decades, we have invested millions of dollars in life-changing scholarships and projects and partnerships with UN agencies and non-governmental organizations, helping to dismantle barriers and create opportunities for women and girls globally

This year, the Foundation has once again demonstrated what is possible when purpose and passion unite. Together, we achieved a historic milestone of reaching our long-term Endowment Fund goal of US$10 million. This achievement represents more than a financial benchmark. It is a testament to the enduring belief of Zontians everywhere in creating a sustainable future for women and girls. The Endowment Fund ensures that Zonta’s impact will continue for generations to come, empowering us to respond to evolving needs and drive lasting change.

Throughout this 40th anniversary campaign, members, friends, clubs and districts across the globe have embodied Zonta’s mission of building a better world for women and girls. From record levels of participation in our fundraising campaigns to the growth of our Zonta 1919 Legacy Circle and new planned gifts, our supporters have shown their commitment, creativity and collaboration. Each contribution, large or small, has strengthened the Foundation’s ability to advance gender equality and support the projects and programs that make Zonta’s mission tangible for women and girls in communities around the world.

As we close this chapter and look ahead, we do so with renewed vision. The work of the Foundation is not finished. In many ways, it is just beginning. The next decade will bring new challenges and opportunities to innovate, connect and lead. Together, we will continue to expand our reach, deepen our partnerships, and ensure that Zonta remains a global leader in empowering women and girls.
