Training Training has much to offer through WELL – including vendors outside WYDOT By Rebecca McGee, Training Services WYDOT has a lot of training that can be accessed. Some of this training is hosted in the WELL and some of it hosted by vendors outside of WYDOT. The WELL catalogs all of this training, helps you find and access it, and then keeps track of it on your transcript.
eLearning, you can launch the course by clicking OPEN COURSE or play icon. • If it is a Learning Plan, which can include eLearning, assignments, and instructor led training, click the blue plus button to the right of the event title to enroll. • The term “Enrollment” refers to instructor led training, live or virtual. If you want to enroll, click the course title to see the details, then click the ENROLL button. To drop the training, click DROP. Here’s How To Find Training on an External catalogue: 1. Click the FIND TRAINING button. 2. Click the EXTERNAL COURSE CATALOG title. 3. Click EXTERNAL COURSE CATALOG (in red letters). 4. Narrow your search using filters, which include types, categories and start dates. 5. Click the event title and view the details and register for the training on the externally hosted site.

NOTE: You may need to create an account on the externally hosted site. View the job aid about the external site to see how to create an account. Here’s How To Register for Additional Training Resources: 1. Click on the ADDITIONAL TRAINING RESOURCES title. 2. Review the descriptions for the resources. 3. Click the icon for the resource you choose. 4. Follow the directions for enrolling in a class on the external site that hosts this additional training.
