When you’re raised in a military family like me, moving is a part of life. During my childhood, I experienced this firsthand – and it led to my fascination with the process of putting the family home up for sale. It gave me a keen understanding of just how emotionally charged the transition can be for parents children, even family pets!
My personal and unique journey of moving from one family home to another culminated with a move to Ottawa in 1977 – the city destined to become my hometown. My path to home ownership enforced the strongly held belief that everyone deserves as much support as possible in finding a home that means everything to the entire family.
