Academics Meet Creativity

Whether your creative pursuits lead you to center stage, behind the scenes, or the walls of a gallery, Willamette offers opportunities and resources to explore your passions. We prioritize a holistic, well-rounded education – which often includes experiences beyond the classroom. From student-led groups to campus-sponsored performances, there are many ways to share your creativity and connect with fellow students.

WHO CAN AUDITION?

Campus productions and ensembles hold open call auditions, meaning every student can try out, regardless of their major. As a liberal arts university, we believe that students become their best selves when they have the opportunity to explore all of their varied interests. Participating in a musical group or stage production allows students to build confidence and work together toward a shared goal, finding a supportive community in the process.
