UNDERSTANDING FORGIVENESS
Choosing to forgive both yourself and others for your past experiences, is a choice only you can make.
By releasing your past mistakes and instead choosing to see them as a valuable lesson, offers you the opportunity for growth and expansion.
Forgiveness is something that you do to empower yourself.
It grants you the freedom you need to be able to move forward in a healthy productive way.
You are not excusing another's behaviour, but no longer allowing it to keep you feeling stuck and disempowered.
Forgiveness is realising that what happened in the past was not your fault. Understanding, it will never change, it happened, but it doesn't have to define you.
On the following pages, there are a series of exercises for you to better understand forgiveness and the freedom that comes from letting go.
