6. Make a Pledge Campaign Beach cleanliness can be achieved through the collective effort of citizens and tourists. The participants were provided with a canvas and a permanent marker and they were asked to write their own pledge of commitment in taking care of the beach environment. Beachgoers were also asked to write their pledges. Following this, there was a drawing activity which focused on the activities that the beachgoers typically engage in. The activity speaker raised a discussion about the possible key actions to enhance the sea quality including reducing pollutants and waste and conserving water and fishing responsibly.
