HBVCC HOMESTEAD RUN
SUNDAY 14th NOVEmBER 2021 This year the run is only open to VCC members and their immediate families
Meet at the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market off Kenilworth Road, Hastings ready for a 10am departure (Second entrance - look out for the VCC Sign)
While you are at the market, stock up for your picnic lunch Allow extra time for your shopping as the Market is operating under the public health guidance surrounding safe health practice in relation to Covid-19 (So log your entry on the NZ Covid Tracer app or complete the manual contact register, wear masks and maintain social distancing)
We are visiting Maungakuri Station with an opportunity to visit the Station Chapel and also the nearby Kairakau and Maungakuri Beaches.
The route is approx. 60 km’s (40 miles) to its furthest point, but you need to allow for a total distance of approx.120 kms (75mls) for the return trip to Hastings, there is no fuel on route.
