WEDNESDAY RUN//

By Helen Ball

DETECTIVES, DANGER AND THEATRICAL DRAMA

The May Mid week run was full of theses as the occupants of the 20 cars participating retraced the steps of a secret assassin who was going to dispose of a visiting member of the Royal Family. Ladies disguised behind a moustache, hat and glasses, male passengers in hat and sunglasses navigated their drivers through a maze of roads and streets and trying ( in all cases unsuccessfully ) to solve a cryptic message. The run was brilliantly put together by John Cocking and LeeAnn Freeman and finished at Repertories Little Theatre where all was finally revealed in an entertaining way and the villain identified. Many thanks to the organisers for something a wee bit outside the square and loads of fun. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
