HSSE
Keeping up with Summit Digitel’s commitment to the causes of safety, sustainability, and a Zero Harm workplace, we completed 46872 man-hours of customized HSSE training to field personnel involving our O&M partner. This included refresher trainings on Working @ Height, Electrical Safety, and Road Safety. Additionally, Summit delivered 2530 man-hours of training internally to its employees under the ageis of Summit Safety Program and weekly HSSE training programs across all our Circles.
HSSE inspections during each site visit have proven to be extremely helpful in preventing workplace injuries, as high risks are proactively identified and mitigated. In this quarter, leadership HSSE site inspections were also initiated at Summit. Our CEO, CRO, COO, and CSMO conducted detailed HSSE site inspections, wherein they reviewed the HSSE requirements, interacted with field personnel, and reemphasised our committment towards injury prevention and safe work. Summit HSSE team continued their site inspections and conducted 1045 HSSE site inspections between April 2022 and mid June 2022. Around 5429 unsafe acts / conditions were reported during these inspections. 3397 observations were closed by the O&M partner and validated by Summit’s HSSE team.
