Pauline Amelinckx a winner in homecoming parade
IN the hearts of her countrymen, Pauline Amelinckx was the true winner of Miss Supranational 2023. The Boholano beauty got a huge warm welcome from jubilant townmates who lined the streets during her homecoming parade in Bohol on Sunday.
Amelinckx, who many believed should have won the country’s second Miss Supranational crown was named first runner-up to an unheralded contender from Ecuador, despite topping her class in all departments of the pageant.
Amelinckx, whose wit and eloquence won her the tough Chat challenge, looked stunning in a blue gown by Mikee Andrei as she stood atop a rose-bedecked float highlighting Bohol’s Sandugo Festival Parade.
