What Kids are Grateful for

Rosanne Fortier - News Correspondent

The theme was Thanksgiving at the Stay and Play Program at Kalyna Family Resource Network-Vegreville and Area.

Spokes Programmer Cheryl Sorensen said they had colouring sheets on the table, and a page where the young participants could fill out what they are thankful for. “This helps kids to understand the holidays and the meaning of Thanksgiving.

Youngster, Alexia Perez, shared that she was thankful for her family and hamster.

Alaa Khalidi expressed her gratitude for the KFRN. “I like to play with the kids here, and the toys, especially building houses with the large foam blocks because they stick together, and it is a lot of fun. I also enjoy playing with the dishes in the toy kitchen.”
