lá from sunny Portugal where we are currently holidaying. Like many people this has been the first time we have been abroad in about a year and a half, boy does it feel good! Before kids, holidays would consist of lie ins, lounging by the pool, dinners and cocktails. With young children, this proves to be somewhat tricky. What I’ve realised is you can make it work if you want to. Life is short and the memories you create are all worth the blood, sweat and tears! Talking of sweat and tears (no blood thankfully!) getting to Portugal was a rather interesting experience. My husband had a stag booked so I met him out there with our 1 and 3-year-old. Flying solo was not easy, but we made it.
