Experience Required
Personal Attributes
• A track record of successful fundraising including delivering fundraising campaigns and meeting income targets.
• Creative and flexible self-starter able to work individually and as part of a team.
• Able to think strategically about fundraising initiatives and relationships and to implement and deliver. • Experience of working in fundraising in an educational setting and with alumni would be an advantage.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated to get the job done to the highest standards. • Ability to use initiative, organise tasks and prioritise work without constant supervision even when managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines. • Instinctively collaborative and consultative, with the ability to be decisive as the situation demands. • Reflective and open-minded; keen to listen and understand; committed to self-improvement.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality. • An understanding of GDPR and how it affects fundraising. • Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets, gift aid etc.
