Companies prepare for the CIPCâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s new compliance checklist The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has introduced a new requirement for all South African companies to declare their compliance with specific sections of the Companies Act 2008 (Act) by completing and submitting a compliance checklist online. The new requirement came into force on 1 January 2020 and requires companies to submit their compliance checklist before they can file their annual returns.
