Area SCHOOLS

Located in south-central Wisconsin, the Stoughton Area School District is an award-winning school system that consistently posts a higher graduation rate than many Dane County schools and has garnered national recognition for its educational practices. We offer three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, a virtual school, and a 4-year-old kindergarten program. At Stoughton, we are big enough to meet the needs of all students and small enough to personalize learning for all students. We take pride in:

Achievement

All five of our schools either Meet or Exceed Expectations on the Wisconsin School Report Cards. Stoughton High School has received the Spirit of Excellence award three years in a row, which is a testament to our students’ service, sportsmanship, positive school climate, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and fine arts programs.
