Team Philosophy

The Regis Jesuit High School girls basketball program sets a standard to which each and every player aspires. Following principles that have set the Raiders apart, we adhere to the quote, “With every right there must be a positive responsibility.”

From our inaugural season in 2004-05, the program has remained devoted to the ideal of “giving” before “getting.” This is a tried-and-true formula for success. Giving of one’s self, giving to a teammate, giving back to the game and giving for the program….and that has set our standard! Our players play fast and aggressive--the same way the will need to respond to many life situations--and have found success in this approach. The goal is to provide a positive atmosphere in which, by the way they react to the challenges faced on the court, the girls are strengthened in their role as responsible citizens.
