Scissortail lower park 30 ACRES IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT SCISSORTAIL PARK WITH THE LATEST EXPANSION SET TO OPEN LATE SUMMER. The 30-acre lower portion of Scissortail Park broke ground in November 2020 and is slated to be completed late this summer. The lower park, south of the Skydance Bridge, is centered around active pursuits, with a soccer field, basketball, futsal and pickleball courts, as well as a sports pavilion. The lower portion will stretch east from S. Walker Avenue to S. Robinson Avenue and extends south to SW 15th St where it merges with Riverfront Park.
