Wildlife encounters abound
There are currently nine themed zones
A Red Sea shipwreck, dhow rides, sting ray feeding, and a collection of glow-in-the-dark sea species are just some of the exciting things to see at The National Aquarium’s thematic zones. Away from the sting rays, jellyfish and groupers, you’ll also find a range of land creatures, including a flock of puffins, frogs, capybaras, squirrel monkeys, monitor lizards and a seven-metre-long snake.
The underwater tunnel is the longest in the Middle East

Located in Zone 9 (Bin Tinah zone), visitors can walk along the glass tunnel through a tank dedicated to the local species that are found in the UAE’s Boutina reserve.
There’s a genuine emphasis on conservation
The Wildlife Rescue programme – a joint collab between the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi and The National Aquarium – aims to rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife into the emirate, ensuring a world of natural treasures for future generations.

General admission costs Dhs105. The Beyond Glass ticket includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the Aquarium for Dhs130. The Bu Tinah Dhow tickets cost Dhs150, including a fish feeding experience and boat tour.
