The 2023 Wildlife Collection II is our most extensive wildlife offering to date including 236 brand new images (over 250 total!) by 34 artists. New Wildlife Artists 2023

Barbara Fallenbaum

A Tampa native, Barbara cherished art from a young age, inspired by nature and wildlife. In her childhood, she sketched buildings and birds, recalling beach trips with her mother. Despite earning an Accounting degree, her passion for art never waned. In 1993, she became a full-time artist, traveling in a motorhome to exhibit her art. Throughout her nomadic journey, her deep connection to nature, especially birds, remained strong. Settling on a barrier island, the play of light and water inspired her to work with luminous oil paints. Surrounded by island birds, her passion for painting rekindled as she sought to share her joy through art.

Derk Hansen

The elusive wildlife artist, Derk evades the mainstream art world, preferring cowboy life, African safaris, and documenting New Zealand’s mountains. Since 1982, he’s acted and done stunts, created historic pencil drawings, joined cattle drives, visited Kodiak Island for bear painting, and appeared at art shows and on local TV. Derk continues his adventures today, always seeking new painting subjects. With over 150 limited edition prints, collector plates, and various art products, he’s a worldwide collector favorite. Derk’s art vividly conveys his adventures and connects with viewers. Beyond awards, he considers the connection his art fosters, as the ultimate reward.

Matt Huras

A loon feeds its young in the calm of the pre-dawn mist. An owl envelops its prey with massive, yet silent wings. A hummingbird displays the stunning iridescence of its gorget. The sun sets over an expansive boreal landscape. Matt Huras is nature photographer based out of Ontario, Canada. Through his work, he hopes to capture and share unique images of our natural world.

Rebecca Latham

Rebecca, from an outdoorsy family, embraced her artistic talent in her teens. Her art focuses on wildlife and habitat preservation, supporting various conservation fundraisers. She’s had her work featured on conservation and hunting stamps, including the 2003 MN wild turkey stamp. Rebecca’s dedication to wildlife art involves extensive fieldwork and research, rooted in personal experiences with the species she paints. She also champions traditional miniature painting, emphasizing detailed art rather than size. Rebecca is associated with several prestigious art organizations and has received numerous honors and commissions, including Harvard’s ‘Who Mentored You?’ program and the Butler Institute of American Art. Her work is found in public collections worldwide, and she has exhibited in renowned galleries and museums like the Smithsonian and Nature in Art (UK)

Audrey Rydalch

Raised in Los Angeles, Audrey Rydalch developed a deep connection to nature by camping on beaches, observing seabirds, and exploring National Parks during family summers in Idaho. Moving to Idaho during high school further nurtured her love for animals and the natural world. Although always passionate about photography, she fully embraced her photographic journey after her children had grown. Starting with a Minolta film camera, she won accolades at the Idaho State Fair, but her true excitement came when her children gifted her a DSLR camera. Audrey eagerly captured everything, frequently visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons. She also ventured to Alaska, where photographing wild eagles profoundly impacted her photographic journey. While she doesn’t have a favorite animal to photograph, eagles hold a special place in her heart, alongside her love for capturing bears and moose during the Fall.

All prints are produced in the USA using very high resolution printers creating a premium quality, continuous tone print.

Sizing Options

Many images are available in up to 9 sizes ranging from petite (11x14) to billboard (48x60). You can view all of the specific image and finished paper sizes on our website along with the corresponding retail price. Wholesale customers will receive the same discount for all products, sizes, and substrates, noting that some products have maximum allowed discounts. Custom sizing may be available upon request.

Poster Paper

McGaw’s standard poster paper is a high quality 230 gsm smooth matte poster paper. Prints on poster paper include a 1” border around the image and are shipped rolled in a tube. This paper stock is perfect for both paintings and photographs.

Giclée Paper

McGaw’s premium fine art paper is an acid free, archival textured 245 gsm giclée paper, printed with 100 year archival light-fast inks. Giclée paper prints include a 2” border around the image and are shipped rolled in a tube. This paper is similar to a traditional artist’s watercolor paper and produces a very vibrant print.

Unstretched Canvas

McGaw’s premium artist canvas is a 20 mil (400gsm) bright white cotton/ poly blend with a satin finish and a 2-over 1 weave which is highly durable, waterproof, and scratch resistant. Canvas is printed with water resistant solvent inks that are vibrant with dense blacks and bright whites. Canvas prints include a 2” border around the image and are shipped rolled in a tube. Specifically designed for the home decor market, this superior canvas delivers exceptional print quality and ease of stretching.
