I was temporarily healed recently, when a spur of the moment idea of putting together a pool party with LIVE music actually happened. Two great local bands – RUSTX and FUSE fired up Blue Spice in Protaras for an amazing pool party supporting Cyprus Rocks Festival ’20. The fourth Cyprus Rocks couldn’t take place this year but organizer Mario Ramjhun and Blue Spice created a rocking day full of LIVE music for Cyprus Rocks supporters who flew over from the U.K. and locals. The vibe was powerful and the event a success! #bringbacklivemusic New music anyone? Check out Larnaca based alternative rock band, The Smallest Creature, who have just released
their new album, MAGIC BEANS. An album, with influences seeping through from the likes of Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and more, but which definitely has their own identity stamped on it. With no possibility of having a LIVE album presentation event, head over to Spotify, iTunes or YouTube, to hear this 11 song album that I’ve been listening to for the last week nonstop since its release.
Heading over to Ramsgate, U.K. now, I must direct you to a fabulous band that I discovered during lockdown. Hello Collateral!! Most of us love at least one Bon Jovi song, so it’s safe to say that you will like this band. Familiarize yourself with this 5 member band whose music reminds me of the earlier Bon Jovi material with catchy Rock tunes and melodic tones. ’IN IT FOR LOVE’

is one of my favourites and promises to wake up your senses. Collateral exploded onto the music scene in 2018 where their debut album went straight to number 5 in the UK Rock charts which then manoeuvred them into the direction of supporting major bands, EVEN Jon BonJovi on his Mediterranean cruise (WOW!!) Their music is a blend of Rock and country and a delight to have on repeat. Also worth mentioning is gorgeous front man Angelo Tristan, has just landed the role to play Steve Tyler in a new AEROSMITH biopic…. how ‘AMAZING’ is that?! Keep music alive !
