Flag, a Flower, a Moment of Memorial This coming Memorial Day (Monday, May 25), NYC Veterans Alliance joins United War Veterans Council, NYC Department of Veterans’ Service, and NYS Division of Veterans’ Services in asking YOU to help us remember America’s fallen through A Flag, a Flower, a Moment of Memorial. Public commemorations of Memorial Day have been cancelled in NYC, but we can
come together virtually by sharing images and memories online. You can participate by taking a photo of an American flag and a flower and reflect on the meaning of the holiday with your family and friends. We welcome you to share stories of the servicemembers and veterans laid to rest who you are thinking of on this solemn day. You may also choose to share your thoughts on memorials or historic sites you’re thinking of as we take a
