FR S’il est un domaine particulièrement important aux yeux des autorités, c’est bien celui du logement. En témoigne le budget dédié à ce poste par la Ville : 83,2 mios €. Consciente des difficultés pour les habitants de se loger à Luxembourg, elle poursuit l’acquisition de terrains et bâtiments (42,5 mios €) pour les mettre en location.

De nombreux projets de construction, de rénovation et de transformation de logements sont à l’ordre du jour pour un montant global de 40,7 mios € en 2023. Parmi ces derniers, le PAP Centre de Merl consiste en la construction de 4 résidences et 45 appartements (11 mios €), tandis que la rue Paul Albrecht au Cents accueillera dans les années à venir 42 logements, ainsi qu’une maison des jeunes (financés à hauteur de 6,4 mios € en 2023). Soucieuse de garantir l’accès au logement à tous les ménages, quels que soient leurs revenus, la Ville prévoit également la construction de maisons familiales rue des Celtes (1,6 mio €) et rue de la Lavande (1,2 mio €), ainsi que des logements sociaux rue de Merl (2,5 mios €) et rue Haute (1,4 mio €).

EN If there’s one area that’s particularly important in the eyes of the authorities, it’s housing. And the amount allocated by the City (€83.2M) to this item certainly reflects this. The City is conscious of the difficulties residents face in finding housing in Luxembourg, as such, it continues to purchase land and buildings (€42.5M) for the rental market.

Many housing construction, renovation and extension projects are on the agenda for a total amount of €40.7M in 2023. These include the Centre de Merl special development plan (plan d’aménagement particulier – PAP), in which 4 apartment blocks and 45 apartments will be built (€11M), while over the next few years, Rue Paul Albrecht in Cents will accommodate 42 housing units, as well as a youth centre (with up to €6.4M in financing in 2023). The City is keen to guarantee access to affordable housing for all households, whatever their income. As such, the construction of single-family homes in Rue des Celtes (€1.6M) and Rue de la Lavande (€1.2M) is planned, as well as social housing on Rue de Merl (€2.5M) and Rue Haute (€1.4M).
