AFROMIX, a division of AFX Holdings, is a leading manufacturer of agitators and peristaltic pumps headquartered in Southern Africa. With more than 30 years’ experience and over 5 000 major installations to its credit, AFROMIX has supplied some of the largest agitators and peristaltic pumps in the world. This in part is due to the assistance from the South African Capital Equipment Export Council (SACEEC), which awarded Afromix with Exporter of the Year Africa award, held in December 2021. Being a member of SACEEC has cemented lasting business relationships with quite a few foreign companies we are supplying to. Their facilitation of National Pavilions and Exhibitions greatly assists members to access global markets. SACEEC’s relationship with the South African Department of Trade, Industry and Competition has afforded Afromix many opportunities to participate in Outward Selling and Inward Buying Missions. These have proved invaluable to secure foreign business. We are always looking at new markets and have found that there is a lot of demand in the Middle Eastern countries as well as in Asia. These markets tend to be saturated with off shelf products, which in most cases cannot meet the client’s application requirements. Therefore, a bespoke product with our vast experience and knowledge is sought after. Fortunately, we are famous for our range of superior products, which has been utilised in most industries, and all thanks to this experience and familiarity, we can offer sustainable solutions to any plant problems. We offer quick solutions because we are the only agitator supplier with its own inhouse manufacturing facility in South Africa. We are in the process of finalising our SABS local content verification and we are committed to increase our local content to 100% on projects where possible. Our company has grown from strength to strength, even amidst the Covid pandemic, due to key role players, such as SACEEC, in South Africa’s manufacturing industry.
