The caller stated she was walking her dog on Ridge Road near Eagle Street when she observed a black vehicle with its windows down. As she walked by the vehicle, she could clearly see the male engaged in lewd conduct. An investigation led to the arrest of Nicholas Collins, 27, of Paterson, who was charged with lewdness and released on a summons. n On March 7, 2022, North Arlington police received a call of three semi-professionally while living in Kearny. The individuals were later identified as Emmanuel Galindez, 32, of Newark, and two juveniles. A subsequent investigation determined Galindez allegedly burglarized a vehicle on Biltmore Avenue. He was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and processed and later transported to the Bergen County Jail. One of the juveniles was found to be in dren, one great-grandchild, and an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews. Matt will be missed by all who knew his gentle nature and generous soul. Officers learned a woman was asleep on a mattress in the living room and allegedly awoke to find her estranged husband, who sleeps in another room, holding an alcohol-soaked rag over her face and making a comment about “having her.” The woman stopped him, but police possession of an air soft gun. were reportedly not called until the husband placed the cloth over her face a second time, forcing the wife to kick and scream for help. Officers later seized the alcohol-soaked cloth which had reportedly been next to a used pre-filled syringe containing Caverject Impulse, an injectable erectile dysfunction medication. Officers arrested the husband on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, criminal restraint, weapon possession and endangering another person. He was brought to Jersey City Medical Center for a psychiatric screening.
