THE RHYTHM OF THE BUTTERFLY Contemporary Poetry Anthology by Santosh Kumar Biswa

Mind you all. Wake up all Mind you all, those staring at me, Fully in dejection I stand here, Looking at your face, as pale as weak buds, To proclaim about the mistake you made. Who is to blame for such changes in you? Is it me or you, once filled with selfishness? And now with your head low, to seek. The fruits are bitter, bitterer it would be, If through heart you aren't considerate, To mold it back to once it was, long ago, Then shall you get, what your forefather got, With blessings, not like the one you hold. Await this, lifeless it is on my hand, And all around you, so alike, like in the tomb, With unbalanced sky and its belongings, Never to know, the time it should be with.
