THE RHYTHM OF THE BUTTERFLY Contemporary Poetry Anthology by Santosh Kumar Biswa

Heart or Mind Hold your heart - be open Everyone tells, not reasoning what it is for. Angry heart, yours is - some even point it out, Not keeping in memory, Pumping hemoglobin its utility is. Heart or mind – some even confuse. What do you say? Is it the same with you? Control first the mind and the heart afterward, If not done so, the rain may fall, And erode you until the limit of that furious salty ocean, Leading you to end life, with that of stress, As hot as lava in the core and melt you like snow. Sweet will be your heart if sweet is your mind, Pressure not the mind, for it steel your heart, That let you fly high in the sky like a swift, To enjoy all the beauty created by God. Thus, be good with good in mind.
