EITHER NEAR OR DEAR The waning out life in isolation The gush of clouding dejection, Yes, moment after moment Chase me without any respite. Managing to balance at times I stumble umpteen times, But, the reprieve I deeply seek Evade me, giving a mystic slip. Anyway, the fragile body Is destined to worn-out one day, And, when life takes a nose-diving Realize, every dream keeps falling. The merciless hands of fate Can create infinite love and hate; When the time of doom draws near No one can save, either near or dear.
