THE OMNIPOTENT A deep spiritual thirst A deep endless quest Lurks in the deep heart, And stands in the forefront In the volley of thoughts To gain wisdom and insight. Absorbed, I cannot resist The determined pursuit Captivated, I cannot desist The never-ending spirit, Beholding the tether of wit Inward vision I must activate. I feel, I lack something yet I feel, I need yet some boost, To shed worldly attachments To counter delusion Of spiritual instinct To reach an insight To reach the realization root.
