THE DAY ONE REALIZES Peace dwells in every human heart Now and then, it keeps peeping out, Often, we ignore it under compulsion As if, peace is the last and least option. In times of suffering and in times of crisis We search for love; we search for bliss; We thirst for peace, we thirst for unity, Ultimately aspire for harmonious humanity. The unsteady mind runs after wild passions Unaware, it leaves us astray in life’s ocean; Betwixt the shores of sufferings and pains The primary phase of life loses its sheen. The breeze of egoism blows passionately Pleasures and desires drag us fanatically; The day one realizes this deceitful slumber Heart; for love, peace and harmony surrenders.
