PARKS LIBRARY REDESIGN

SUMMARY

The Parks Library at Iowa State University is a somewhat underused building. With so much information available at the tip of students’ Þngers and other various revolutions and advancements in technology, traditional libraries with rows of tall bookshelves also need to undergo a change. In order to add contemporary value to Parks Library, my group and I set out to rethink the program of the space, provide students with new and various resources, and create a comfortable campus asset for the benefit of all.
