oschka Werdermann soared to the 2021 AMERICANA Ranch Riding European Open Championship. He had two horses in the qualifier, and in the finals he won first and second place aboard respectively 12-year-old AQHA Ruff Commander (Ruf Lil Rascal x Peppys Especial Lena), owned by Leonie Mager and the Criollo CP Chaca Teso, owned by Jacqueline Gulden-Schütz. The Buckskin stallion Ruff Commander has had a successful reining career among others, "I've had Ruff Commander in training for about four weeks now," said Joschka. "He is an absolutely cool, laid-back horse, but of course I didn't know how he would manage the atmosphere of the show arena here at AMERICANA, but at the end he didn't mind at all

and was right there with me from the beginning." Verena Geirhos riding Lisa Geirhos’ Nu Rietta Chex took the Ranch Riding European Ranch Riding Non Pro Championship with a 151 score.

NEW LOCATION FOR AMERICANA 2023 Following discussions regarding further growth of the event, as right holders and sporting management AMERICANA GmbH, searched for a new venue for Europe’s largest trade show centered around western riding disciplines. The chosen location was the Messe Friedrichshafen fairgrounds. Friedrichshafen, located on Lake Constance, Germany, is located in the heart of Europe. Dates have been set for September 6–10, 2023.
