DEVOTIONAL
“Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Psalm 62:8 Rev. Alberto Ortega
BE STILL To wait means to remain in a place until something expected happens. It also means to remain inactive in expectation. Based on these definitions, it is safe to say that waiting on God while being under adverse, difficult, uncomfortable or unbearable circumstances depends on our faith in Him. The heart has to fully trust that God will manifest and reverse the situation. God always comes where faith or divine intervention is required. Waiting on God is a powerful statement of faith in His divine resources. In its definition “to remain inactive in expectation,” waiting becomes the most difficult thing to do for people. We usually react to the events happening around us, and our natural tendency is to act on the pressure surrounding us.
