Yaseen Hanware - Chairman I hope that this edition of Die Bontebok finds you and your loved ones in good health. It’s two years since the very first lock down and I’m pleased to see the resumption of a sense of normality. Things seem to be looking up and with that I look forward to the activities and events we have scheduled. The year thus far began with the Safari Outdoor Centrefire Shoot in February in Durbanville, and the Safari Outdoor Vlakte Shoot on the 5th of March in Darling. As always, the shoots were enjoyable and it was great to see members and their families turn out and participate. My sincere gratitude to Safari Outdoor for your sponsorship. Thank you. Going forward, I’m pleased to say that our Members’ Evenings have resumed. Our guest speaker at the Members’ Evening held in February was Kobus Smit who gave a fascinating insight into snakes. Our next guest speaker will be Damian Enslin, a Firearm Attorney who will be sharing his expertise at our AGM on the 31st of March.
