t is difficult to believe that we’ll be heading into September in a mere few weeks. In the hunting calendar we know that this means the hunting season has passed. I hope that it was a better season than the last year, even though lockdown on various levels continues to be at the order of the day. Preceding the hunting season, Kaapjag had a .22 baanskiet on 1 May in Atlantis. This was shortly followed by a vlakteskiet, also in Atlantis, on 22 May. Our planned Inter-branch shoot on 3 July was unfortunately postponed due to lockdown regulations and elevated Covid19 infections. This shoot has yet to take place. A .22 baanskiet is scheduled for 21 August at Durbanville Shooting Club where I look forward to seeing many of you. In going forward, please set aside 18 September for a day of shooting at the Durbanville Shooting Club. This promises to be an exciting shoot. More information will be provided in due course.
