Creating investment opportunities for women
President, Dr Irfaan Ali, hosted an investment meeting with over 60 Guyanese women at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre on Friday A number of investment opportunities were discussed with the women, who are from various professional fields including law, medicine, tourism, business, media and entertainment President Ali encouraged them to take on more leadership roles and create greater business opportunities for themselves Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond; Director of Guyana’s Local Content Secretariat, Dr. Martin Pertab and Director of Presidential Affairs, Marcia Nadir-Sharma were also at the meeting.
