from April 2020

Karen D. Jeffery loves the Heavenly Father, her family, and her church. Keep looking up Jesus is coming soon. About The Author W e all desire and need strength. Without guidance, that puts us all at risk of failing, but we need to understand that we need braveness, and that’s not the absence of fear: it’s the added strength to keep going forth despite that fear that comes upon you. Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things though Christ which strengthens me.”

Be sure you put your feet in the right place, hold fast, and stand tall. Out of the depths of our heart, strength will be made possible.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14: “Watch ye, stand fast in faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with Charity.”
The saying is true that you never know how strong you have to be until you have no choice. We can count on courage and the Father above to give us grace in those times of pressure. We know that pressure makes beautiful diamonds. A diamond is the strongest stone and also the most precious because of its indestructibility. We are like diamonds to God. He gives us added strength.
Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
We can find great strength when we put our muscles into it. We become stronger and find that inside ourselves, we can face those challenges in life and become more resilient.
Psalm 28:7: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” We are only as strong as we are united and weak as we are divided. But together, we can be like David. 1 Samuel tells us about that wonderful story of a mighty, courageous young man that was very brave and had unbelievable strength. With just one smooth stone out of the five he picked up from out of the brook, he was able to bring Goliath down with just one single shot. David told that giant, “Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.” The Lord gave David strength to do what everyone thought was impossible.
Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Make it a plan to pray for added strength and for healing in your body. The Lord will meet you there.
